Abstract

The specific features of the localization and propagation of a shear wave caused by magnetoelastic interaction are studied using the example of a finite one-dimensional magnetic superlattice consisting of acoustically gyrotropic and acoustically nongyrotropic layers. The case where the wavelength of the elastic wave is commensurate with the period of the superlattice is considered.
