Abstract

Equations describing the density and dynamic viscosity of 10 to 40% KOH solution at temperatures of 20–70°С are derived. The dynamic viscosity and density were studied in a newly constructed experimental setup including an SV-10 viscometer. The deviation of the predictions from the experimental data is within the confidence interval. The uncertainty in the experimental data does not exceed 1.91% for density and 3.56% for dynamic viscosity.
