Kurzfassung
Geflügelte und ungeflügelte vivipare Weibchen von Nearctaphis bakeri (Cowen 1895) wurden im Dezember 1989 an Trifolium pratense im Gewächshaus in Rostock gefunden. Diese nordamerikanische Blattlaus-Art erschien erstmals im Dezember 1964 in Europa und hat seitdem ihr Verbreitungsgebiet weiter ostwärts ausgedehnt. Während N. bakeri in Nordamerika einen Holozyklus mit Wirtswechsel vollführt, vermehrt sie sich in Europa permanent anholozyklisch und besiedelt verschiedene Fabaceae. Sie ist ein potentieller Schädling an Trifolium spp. und kann als Vektor des Bohnengelbmosaik- und des Luzernemosaik-Virus wirksam werden.
Abstract
Alate and apterous viviparae of Nearctaphis bakeri (Cowen 1895) were found in December 1989 on Trifoliumpratense in a glasshouse at Rostock. This North American aphidspecies first appeared in Europe in December 1964. Since this time is has spread eastward. Although N. bakeri is holocyclic in North America, it is anholocyclic in Europe with Fabaceae as their hostplants. It is a potential pest on Trifolium spp. and may be a vector of bean yellow mosaic virus and lucerne mosaic virus .
