Abstract

Three dictyostelid cellular slime molds were isolated from samples of forest soil collected in Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces. Dictyostelium rosarium and D. robustum are new records for China, whereas Polysphondylium pseudocandidum is recorded for the first time in the northern part of China, having been previously known only from Taiwan. Descriptions and illustrations of the primary life cycle stages of these three species are provided in this paper.
