Abstract
The genus Junghuhnia is characterized by the dimitic hyphal system, generative hyhae with clamp connections and presence of cystidia, usually large and incrusted. Although there are records of at least ten species of the genus in Brazil, there is no review paper about them. In this study, the occurrence of six species of Junghuhnia were confirmed in Brazil. An identification key, full descriptions, illustrations and a table of comparison between them are presented. Taxa with doubtful occurrence in Brazil are discussed. Junghuhnia subundata is mentioned from this country for the first time.
