Symmetries of the Fokker-Planck equation and the Fisher-Frieden arrow of time

Abstract

We give here a concrete illustration of Frieden’s arrow of time, connected with Fisher’s information measure. It is shown that this arrow of time is related to symmetries of the Fokker-Planck equation. ©1996 The American Physical Society.
