Effects of virtual charged pseudo Goldstone bosons on the Zbb¯ vertex

Abstract

In this paper we calculate the effects on the Zbb¯ vertex from the virtual charged pseudo Goldstone bosons P± and P8± in the one-generation technicolor model at the one-loop level. In the parameter space the largest reduction to the partial width Γ(Zbb¯) is 46 MeV and the maximum correction to the ratio RbMSMis9.6%.
