We study the consequences of a supersymmetric gauge model based on ${\mathrm{E}}_6$ particle content previously proposed by one of us which conserves lepton number but not baryon number. Neutral fermions are present in this model which can decay into qqq and q¯ q¯ q¯. We discuss their properties and show that they do not contribute significantly to the baryon asymmetry of the Universe.
