Abstract

Large time-dependent partial-rate asymmetries associated with CP violation are predicted for the decays of Bs (≡b¯s) and Bd (≡b¯d) to certain two-body final states (such as D+π). Tagging on an accompanying charged b-flavored particle (Bu=bū) or identified baryon (Λb≡bud) permits the identification of the initial flavor (B or ) of the decaying particle. The asymmetries are contrasted with the Bd→ψKS asymmetry discussed earlier in the literature.
