Abstract
An analysis of the Li,dαC reaction in the collinear (°) and noncollinear (°,8°) geometry is made for two peaks observed in the deuteron energy spectrum and corresponding to excitation energies of 16.1 and 13.6 MeV in the nucleus. It is shown that the reaction proceeds via a direct alpha-transfer process which populates doublets of interfering levels. Spins, weights, and parities of these levels are obtained by means of a least square procedure.
