Abstract

The Usadel equations including spin-orbit scattering terms were solved numerically for superconductive/magnetic multilayers. The results indicate the well known oscillatory behavior of Tc is reduced by the spin-orbit scattering and strongly depends on the material properties of the multilayer. Hence for understanding the various experimental results, the coupled effects of the exchange interaction and spin-orbit scattering must be considered.
