Abstract
We show that the photoemission spectrum for a resonating-valence-band state with bosonic spins and fermionic charges consists of a peak on top of a broad background. The ‘‘Fermi surface’’ corresponds to hole pockets around certain k vectors. The theoretical predictions are compared with the available experimental data, and with the results obtained by other approaches.
