Improved fitting of a vibrorotation model to the dynamics of a modulated CO2 laser

Abstract

By measuring the phase shift of the response of a modulated laser, we improve upon a previous demonstration of the fit of the dynamics of a CO2 laser to a vibrational-rotation model and extract, rather than assume, the intraband relaxation rate.
