Search for CP-violating charge asymmetry in B±J/ψK± decays

Abstract

We present the result of a search for charge asymmetry in B±J/ψK± decays using 772×106 BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e collider. The CP-violating charge asymmetry is measured to be ACP(B+J/ψK+)=[0.76±0.50(stat)±0.22(syst)]%.
