Abstract

We calculate the branching ratios and CP-violating asymmetries for B0K0K¯*0, K¯0K*0, K+K*, KK*+, and B+K+K¯*0, and K¯0K*+ decays by employing the low energy effective Hamiltonian and the perturbative QCD (pQCD) factorization approach. The theoretical predictions for the branching ratios are Br(B0/B¯0K±K*)7.4×108, Br(B0/B¯0K0K¯*0(K¯0K*0))19.6×107, Br(B+K+K¯*0)3×107 and Br(B+K*+K¯0)18.3×107, which are consistent with currently available experimental upper limits. We also predict large CP-violating asymmetries in these decays: ACPdir(K±K¯*0)20%, ACPdir(K*±K¯0)49%, which can be tested by the forthcoming B meson experiments.
