Abstract

An analysis of low-lying collective states in Cd110,112,114 has been performed within the framework of the interacting proton-neutron boson model. The influence of model parameters on level schemes and electromagnetic properties has been investigated, in particular, as far as the breaking of F-spin symmetry is concerned. The 23+ state is suggested as a relatively pure F=Fmax-1 (‘‘mixed-symmetry’’) state in the three isotopes.
