Effects of orbital quantization on electron spin resonance in dirty broken-mirror-symmetry two-dimensional structures

Abstract

The spin susceptibility tensor χij(q,ω) of a disordered two-dimensional electron gas with a spin-orbit coupling in the presence of a strong magnetic field has been evaluated. The case of the tilted field is considered. It is shown that the cyclotron motion affects not only the spin relaxation time and space dispersion characteristics but also, together with the Zeeman interaction, governs the frequency and axis of the spin precession.
