Spin-Wave Approach to One-Dimensional Antiferromagnetic CsNiCl3 and RbNiCl3

Abstract

The spin-wave approximation is applied to linear-chain antiferromagnets CsNiCl3 and RbNiCl3. The susceptibility as well as the zero-temperature magnetic moment is calculated. There is good agreement between the experimental results and the theoretical calculations.
