Multielectron stabilization of atoms in a laser field: Classical perspective

Abstract

We discuss behavior of a two-electron classical system in a very intense laser pulse of high frequency. We demonstrate significant two-electron stabilization with electrons localized on the opposite sides of the nucleus.
