Abstract
The dielectronic satellite lines from the and doubly excited configurations of lithiumlike ions have been studied experimentally and theoretically under dense-plasma conditions. Good agreement between theory and high spectral-resolution measurements performed in laser-target interactions at 0.53-μm wavelength, W/ laser irradiance show that collisional equilibrium conditions are reached between singly and doubly excited levels at electron densities greater than in Al and Si.
