Abstract

A recently developed collective-coordinate technique is employed to calculate electric microfield distribution functions P(ε) for low-frequency-component plasmas. Values of ε considered range from 10 to 50, and both neutral-point and charged-point cases are treated. Comparison is made with appropriate asymptotic expressions.
