Abstract

We report the first observation of color-suppressed B¯0D0π0, D*0π0, D0η, and D0ω decays, and evidence for B¯0D*0η and D*0ω. The branching fractions are B(B¯0D0π0)=(3.1±0.4±0.5)×104, B(B¯0D*0π0)=(2.70.70.6+0.8+0.5)×104, B(B¯0D0η)=(1.40.4+0.5±0.3)×104, B(B¯0D0ω)=(1.8±0.50.3+0.4)×104, and we set 90% confidence level upper limits of B(B¯0D*0η)<4.6×104 and B(B¯0D*0ω)<7.9×104. The analysis is based on a data sample of 21.3fb1 collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e collider.
