The Program Committee warmly welcomes you to the 2017 5^th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Civil Engineering (ICMEMSCE2017), held between 15-16 December 2017, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The ICMEMSCE2017, which was held between 15-16 December 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the continuation of the activity of a group of research scientists and specialists who met in 2012 at the 1^st ICMEMSCE2012 in Harbin, China. ICMEMSCE2017 is organized to gather members of our international community scientists so that researchers from around the world can present their leading-edge work, expanding our community's knowledge and insight into the significant challenges currently being addressed in mechanical engineering, materials science, civil engineering and other related topics. In keeping with the successful traditions established at previous conference series, all the submitted papers have been strictly peer-reviewed by the reviewers drawn from the program committee and external reviewers based on the subject matter of the papers, and only the work of the highest quality would be accepted. The book records the fully refereed papers presented at the conference, and will be very useful for those who are studying and working in the areas of mechanical engineering, materials science, civil engineering and other related topics worldwide.
