Abstract

Results are reported from MCHF calculations of the 1s2s2p² ⁵P-1s2p³ ⁵S wavelengths in the Be I isoelectronic sequence. Earlier MCDF calculations are extended to include some additional ions along the sequence. After a comparison with experiment, the accuracy of the two theoretical methods is discussed.
