Abstract

Electronic equipment used to control sizing analysis by the beaker-decantation method is described. Capacitor-resistor circuits are used to give appropriate sedimentation times and also to control draining and filling of the decantation apparatus. Except for adjusting a control to alter the sedimentation time when necessary, the operator is free to attend to other duties.
