Zusammenfassung

Stauungsdermatitiden zeigen sich in der Regel als sehr therapieresistent, des Weiteren sind es die häufig bei den Patienten vorliegenden Kontaktsensibilisierungen, die die Therapievariabilität deutlich einschränken. Wir überprüften in einer offenen, prospektiven Anwendungsstudie die Effizienz des topischen Kortikoids Prednicarbat in seiner Applikationsform „Fettsalbe” bei der Behandlung von Stauungsdermatitiden. Nach 10 Tagen Behandlung zeigten alle Patienten eine signifikante Besserung aller beobachteten Parameter (p ≤ 0.005). Der Wirkstoff Prednicarbat zeigte in unserer Studie eine sehr gute Therapieeffizienz, verbunden mit einer sehr guten Verträglichkeit.

Abstract

Stasis dermatitis is a common inflammatory skin disease that occurs on the lower extremities in patients with chronic venous insufficiency and usually presents therapy resistance. The therapy variability is often limited particularly by existing contact sensitisations. In an open, prospective application study we examined the efficiency of the topical corticosteroid prednicarbat in its kind of application „fat ointment” in the treatment of stasis dermatitis. After 10 days of treatment all patients revealed a significant improvement of all observed parameters (p ≤ 0.005). Prednicarbat showed a very good therapy efficiency in addition to an excellent application compatibility.
