Formation of a benzenetrienoid resonance structure in a cyclophane containing a trinitrotriaminobenzene unit

Abstract

The [63](1,5,9)triphenyleno(1,3,5)cyclophane 1 shows a trienoid Kekulé-type structure for the planar donor–acceptor substituted benzene part.
