13C-{103RH} Nuclear magnetic resonance studies and fluxional behaviour of the nickel capped rhodium cluster [NiRh6(CO)16]2–

Abstract

Rhodium-103 decoupled l3C n.m.r. measurements have been used to assign the l3C n.m.r of [NiRh6(CO)16]2– and variable-temperature measurements establish a completely different fluxional behaviour to that found for the isostructural cluster, [Rh7(CO)16]3–.
