Influence of crystallisation on the structural and optical properties of lead-free Cs2AgBiBr6 perovskite crystals

Abstract

By slowly evaporating organic solvents, we succeeded in growing lead-free double perovskite Cs2AgBiBr6 crystals. Solubility curves prove the advantage of this growth technique and allow comparison with the controlled cooling method. The growth temperature significantly affects the optical properties of the crystals, which enables us to better understand the material structure–property relationships.
