Assignment of carbon-13 n.m.r. lines using CIDNP

Abstract

13 C N.m.r. resonance lines in aromatic aldehydes, ketones, and phenols can be assigned using photoreduction reactions which produce CIDNP; the technique is illustrated for acetophenone.
