Kritik des freien Willens:
Abstract
Abstract. According to our everyday understanding we are free to decide in which everway we want and we believe that we always could have decided otherwise as well. This is the so-called intuition of free will. What does the scientific view on this intuition tell us? I will evolve three propositions here: (1) There is no room for a theoretical construct of the free will in scientific psychology. (2) Intuitions of free will are social institutions in the service of collective control of individual action. (3) Intuitions of free will are not illusory; rather, they are effective in both psychological and social terms.
