Abstract
New methods of chemical and chemoenzymatic synthesis of nucleoside 5′-thiophosphates and 5′-α-thiotriphosphates are developed. The 5′-α-thiotriphosphates are used as substrates both in template-dependent enzymatic PCR synthesis and in a T7–RNA transcription polymerase system.
