  • An improved HK model-driven consensus reaching for group decision making under interval-valued fuzzy preference relations with self-confidence

    2022, Computers and Industrial Engineering
    Citation Excerpt :

Opinion dynamics is a powerful tool to study the consensus formation. So far, a lot of methods have been proposed to research the evolution of opinion dynamics (Dittmer, 2001; Dong, Zhou, & Martinez, 2019; Dong, Chen, Liang, & Li, 2016; Dong et al., 2010b; Hegselmann & Krause, 2002). The most classic model is Hegselmann-Krause (HK) model proposed by Hegselmann and Krause (2002), where DMs only communicate when their ideas are sufficiently similar, and they update their ideas by averaging all of their neighbors’ opinions.
