Einleitung
Die Universität Hamburg und das Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) gründeten 2010 das Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE). Ziel ist die Anwendung und Weiterentwicklung von empirischen und theoretischen Methoden der Gesundheitsökonomie. Das Zentrum besteht aus sechs gesundheitsökonomischen Lehrstühlen, zwei Juniorprofessuren und zwei Nachwuchsgruppen. Für den weiteren Ausbau erhält das HCHE als eines von vier gesundheitsökonomischen Zentren in Deutschland eine Förderung des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).
Summary
The Universität Hamburg und the Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) have founded the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE) in 2010. Principal aim is the application and development of empirical and theoretical methods in health economics. The center consists of six chairs in health economics, two assistant professor positions and two junior research groups. For the purpose of further development the center – as well as three other centers - receives funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
