Program Objective
The goal of Neuroimaging Clinics of North America is to keep practicing radiologists and radiology residents up to date with current clinical practice in radiology by providing timely articles reviewing the state of the art in patient care.
Target Audience
Practicing radiologists, radiology residents, and other healthcare professionals who utilize neuroimaging findings to provide patient care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- 1.
Review the evolution of functional MRI (fMRI) from research to clinical practice applications.
- 2.
Discuss one of the critical limitations of blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) fMRI in the setting of focal brain lesions.
- 3.
Recognize the importance of having knowledge of functional neuroanatomy and the role it plays in designing appropriate clinical fMRI paradigms for interpreting study results.
Accreditation

Method of Participation
In order to claim credit, participants must complete the following:
- 1.
Complete enrolment as indicated above.
- 2.
Read the activity.
- 3.
Complete the CME Test and Evaluation. Participants must achieve a score of 70% on the test. All CME Tests and Evaluations must be completed online.
