Non-linear, time dependent target accuracy assessment algorithm for multi-physics, high dimensional nuclear reactor calculations
2019, Progress in Nuclear EnergyCitation Excerpt :Mathematically, both model calibration and target accuracy assessment have a great deal of similarity with regard to mathematical formulation. Target accuracy assessment focused on nuclear data has been applied to current and future reactor cores (Aliberti et al., 2006; Rochman et al., 2017; Alhassan et al., 2016; Arbanas et al., 2015; Khuwaileh and Abdel-Khalik, 2015). These studies considered different integral quantities such as the multiplication factor, reactivity coefficients and various important reaction rates.
