The purpose of the therapeutic relationship is to facilitate the capacity for patients and their loved ones to cope with their circumstances and to take ownership for their own health and healing. None of this is possible without establishing a therapeutic connection with the patient. There are 4 mindful practices that bring therapeutic connection to life.

Expanding and deepening the work
Pennsylvania Hospital is continuing to deepen and broaden its impact across the Penn Medicine system. Over 50 leaders have attended the See Me as a Person workshop.
See Me as a Person became an interprofessional offering about a year ago, and in recent months, the implementation has become more purposeful. It has proved beneficial to have respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nurses, physicians, and others to sit in same room, learning together. It's one of the few forums at PAH in which that
