As a general principle [1], [2], [3], [4], there is no need to tack up the Spinal Dura after an intended durotomy performed to remove an intradural lesion. In certain cases however, different patient-related factors such as bleeding diathesis caused by genetic or acquired coagulopathies, emergency spinal surgeries in patients undergoing oral anticoagulant agents and patients suffering from severe liver diseases [5], besides double drainages, Surgeon could require before stepwise layers closure
