    Citation Excerpt :

rDBE detection of a primary small-bowel carcinoid tumor that causes obscure GI bleeding was previously reported.19 Scherübl et al12 reported finding primary ileal tumors in 4 of 5 patients with metastatic carcinoids on rDBE. In addition to finding small carcinoid tumors, rDBE allows for marking lesions by using tattoo or clip placement for easy intraoperative detection.
