The main concepts used in [5] are Shannon's entropy [37,42,6] based on genomic distributions [19,9] and random genomes [22,23], with the aim of determining an adequate definition of genome complexity [35,20,2]. If we segment an English text at a length near to the average length of English words, maybe we could better recognize properties of the original text.
