Dr. Babak Ganji received B.Sc. degree from Esfahan University of Technology, Iran in 2000, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from University of Tehran, Iran in 2002 and 2009 respectively, all in major electrical engineering-power. He was granted DAAD scholarship in 2006 from Germany and worked in institute of power electronics and electrical drives at RWTH Aachen University as a visiting researcher for 6 months. He has been working at university of Kashan in Iran since 2009 as an assistant professor and his research interest is modeling and design of advanced electric machine especially switched reluctance motor.
Mr. Mahdi Heidarian received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from university of Hakim Sabzevari, Iran in 2010, graduating with first class honor, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from university of Kashan, Iran in 2014. His main research interest is analysis, modeling and design of electric machines.
Prof. Jawad Faiz received the Bachelor and Master’s degrees in electrical engineering from University of Tabriz , Iran, in 1974 and 1975, respectively, graduating with First Class Honors. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 1988. Early in his career, he served as a faculty member in University of Tabriz for ten years. After obtaining Ph.D. degree, he rejoined Tabriz University. Since February 1999, he has been working as a Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tehran. His teaching and research interests are switched reluctance and VR motors design, design and modeling of electrical machines, drives, and transformers.
