Tail manipulations affect fitness traits in male barn swallows
Highlights
► Aparicio & Møller attack our 2007 paper suggesting the results are artefacts. ► They attempt this by generating random data. ► They fail to report results of statistical tests. ► When we analyse their data their results are not statistically significant. ► We conclude that their claims are unfounded.
