Reproductive performance of Sudan Nilotic does fed pelleted molasses and mash sorghum based diets
2012, Small Ruminant ResearchCitation Excerpt :The current flock prolificacy (fecundity) was expressed as twinning rate. Overall the conception rate was comparable to that obtained by Mourad (1993), with a 95 and 90% conception rate for Zaraibi and Alpine does, respectively. These values were however higher than the 52% and 53% reported by Lehloenya et al. (2005) for estrous synchronized and artificially inseminated South African Boer and Nguni does, respectively.
