Passive nonlinear reshaping towards parabolic pulses in the steady-state regime in optical fibers
2012, Optics CommunicationsCitation Excerpt :Particularly the pulse shape replicates its spectrum profile and the chirp becomes linear. In this regime the spectral width approaches its maximal asymptotic value leading to the saturation of the pulse compression factor [17] and the achievement of maximal compression [18]. We term this regime a steady-state one, because both the pulse temporal profile and the spectral profile are changing very slowly and they tend actually to the some limit.
