Abstract

Isothermal (vapour + liquid) equilibrium values for (3,6-dioxaoctane + n-heptane) were determined at 343.15 K using a recirculating still. Activity coefficients and excess molar Gibbs free energies were calculated and then correlated. The still was also used to determine the vapour pressure of 3,6-dioxaoctane at 339.18 to 382.80 K.
