Abstract

Two new organic carbon oxides namely tetrahydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone biscarbonate(1) and hexahydroxybenzene triscarbonate(2) are reported in this paper, which were isolated as tetrahydrofuran (THF) solvates. Mass spectral and ¹³C-NMR spectral data of these two compounds are consistent with the structures proposed.
