Abstract
Ultrasound-promoted efficient synthesis of new compounds 2-amino-6-(1, 2-dihydro-4-hydroxy-2-oxoquinolin-3-yl)-4-arylpyridine-3-carbonitriles (4a–p) from 4-hydroxy-3-((E)-3-arylacryloyl) quinolin-2(1H)-ones (3a–p) has been described. The effect of solvent and ultrasound irradiation has been described.
