Neurosonografie erleichtert Diagnostik von Polyneuropathien

Zusammenfassung

Die Sonografie der peripheren Nerven hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem festen Bestandteil der Diagnostik neuromuskulärer Erkrankungen entwickelt. Dieses nicht invasive, schmerzlose, zeitsparende und schnell verfügbare Verfahren liefert ergänzend zur elektrophysiologischen Untersuchung Informationen über Ursache der Kompression und Lage der Engstelle. Es wird aber auch als Alternative bei Patienten eingesetzt, bei denen elektrophysiologische Untersuchungen nicht durchführbar sind.
