Die störende Narbenbildung bedeutet für viele Patienten mit Acne vulgaris nicht nur eine hohe psychische Belastung, sondern kann auch zu einer optischen Voralterung des Gesichts führen. Die optimale Behandlung ist dabei oftmals multimodal und langwierig - und erweist sich als eine Herausforderung für den Behandler.
