Zusammenfassung

Der Verlust ihres Kopfhaares stellt – altersunabhängig – für die meisten Frauen ein Horrorszenario dar. Wenn kosmetisches Kaschieren und konservative Therapien nicht mehr ausreichen, kann mittels Haartransplantation dauerhaft Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Aufgrund der diversen möglichen Ursachen eines Haarverlustes ist jedoch zunächst eine gewissenhafte Indikationsstellung unerlässlich. Die operative Behandlung bedarf einer sorgfältigen Planung unter Beachtung der Besonderheiten der weiblichen Kopfbehaarung und des -haarverlustes.

Abstract

The loss of their scalp hair is a horror scenario for most women, regardless of age. If cosmetic concealment and conservative treatment are no longer sufficient, hair transplantation can provide a permanent remedy. Due to the various possible causes of hair loss, however, a conscientious determination of the indications is first essential. Surgical treatment requires careful planning, taking the peculiarities of female hair and hair loss into account.
